Human-centered design for tech-powered learning.
My Story
My educational journey began in 2018, when I traveled to Haiti to support a passion project led by Jamf’s CEO, Dean Hager—establishing a school centered on Technology-Enabled Active Learning plus personalized learning (TEAL+) using iPads. What started as a one-time volunteer trip quickly grew into multiple trips each year and eventually expanded across seven countries around the world. As the program evolved, I was offered a full-time role with the Jamf Community Education Initiatives to continue supporting this work.

Today, my role has expanded to include serving as the Apple and UniFi administrator for all MATTER Innovation Hub locations, as well as designing and curating the technical curriculum for the MATTER Career Readiness Institute, which prepares Zimbabwean post-secondary students to become qualified Swift software developers and pursue other technical career paths. Everything I’ve done during my time at Penn State has been intentionally connected back to my role, allowing me to bring new ideas into our program as we continue to grow.
